HGV Class 1 Temporary Driver

Snodland – Temporary Position

Our client in Snodland, Kent is currently looking for Class 1 HGV drivers to cover various shifts .

Job Description

As a class 1 Articulate lorry driver you will be dealing with the collection and delivery of loads through out the country, usually load and go and return to the deport however the occassional night out may be required.

Responsibilities

Arriving on time for shift start
Understanding of the shift and requirements upon collecting manifest
Daily vehicle checks and reporting of defects if any
BLACK Checks completed competantly
Ensuring load security and delivery of goods are maintained.
Monitoring and maintaining daily driver breaks as per WTD
Accurate paperwork completion and signing by customer
Truck refueling and End of shift procedures.

Qualifications

Hold a valid UK Driving License with Cat C+E
Valid Driver qualification Card with CPC of 35 Hours up to date.
Valid Driver Digital Tacho Card

Monday to Friday (Saturdays possible)

Shift Times

6.00 to 18.00 (Flexibility required)

Lunch Break

45 Minute as per WTD (Unpaid)
